Q1. How much will the course cost me in total?
Total investment for the course is $2600. Remedial sessions are $75 an hour.
Q2. How long will the course take?
Duration of the course depends on the experience you bring to the course, the amount of practice you do and how quickly you learn. Your time frame could be 2 or 3 months on a part time basis but we usually do monthly courses over a 2 week period with the qualification at the end of the 2 weeks (Full Time Study) Most attendees on the course can complete the course in 2 weeks. It can be spread across a longer period if it suits your needs.
Q3. Do I need my own car?
All practical lessons must be in a dual control car which is provided by The Instructor College You may use your trainers car for the duration of the course.
Q1. I have certificate IV in Training and Assessment does this help me at all?
Yes a student that holds a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment receives credit for the units that are aligned to our course and may be eligible for a reduced fee.
Q2. What are my job prospects after I finish the course?
There is always a demand for well-trained instructors. After completing your course with The Instructor College you will be capable of self-employment as an instructor or work for any driving school Australia wide. There are employment opportunities occurring continuously in the industry. If you decided to work as a self employed instructor you would need to purchase your own vehicle, However we have many opportunities and contacts to find employment with reputable driving schools who will offer you a car on a franchise basis, We even have are own Driving School so come and work with us, The choice is yours.
